Please show your support for these two families, and these two communities as they deal with tragic incidents.

Titan Community: This Tuesday, January 9, we ask that everyone come together in a sea of red to remember and honor Grant Siefker, a Columbus Grove student whose life was tragically lost, and a student from Wapak who was also in a tragic accident. As we wear red, let it symbolize the love and support we send to both families and all those touched by these heartbreaking events. Your thoughts and prayers make a difference. #InMemoryOfGrant WBLStrong #TitanStrong

This morning in College Experience we had five of our 2023 Graduates (Left to Right: Gaven Bailey, Manny Carrillo, Maggie Verhoff, Emma Brinkman, and Clara Beach) return to speak to our current seniors about their 1st semester of college! It was such a gift having them return to OG to speak and give their insights about the differences between high school and college and what our seniors can do to be READY! T-MINUS 156 days until graduation!

On December 16th, our National Honor Society took part in Wreaths Across America. Every year on December 16th since 2007, wreaths are placed on Veteran's gravesites across America. Wreaths Across America believes the tradition represents a living memorial that honors veterans, active-duty military, and their families. When each wreath is placed, the servicemember's name is said out loud, ensuring their memory lives on. Thank you to everyone who took part in this event to remember our Veterans and their families.

A huge thank you and shout out to our wonderful school nurses, Ashley Schulte and Lisa Schey, for organizing Stop the Bleed bags for all bus drivers and classrooms in the OG school district!! These bags provide a valuable resource for students and staff alike. Our key club members enjoyed helping to fill these bags while earning some extra volunteer time.

Thanks to the Intro to Woodworking class and some key club members for making over 100 card holding devices from scrap wood! These card holders will distributed to local nursing homes to be used for their card clubs, as bingo prizes, and in their therapy departments. Good work, kids!

Thank you, Charlie Doepker, for entertaining us!

Congratulations to Mr. Verbsky and all of the band members on their performance tonight, and thank you for getting everyone in the Christmas Spririt.

The JV Boys Basketball team will now also be playing on 12/16 at Coach Q Kewpee Holiday Classic vs Shelby. JV will start at 6:30 with Varsity to follow.

Minted Prints Studio (our very own Mrs. Sue Siefker) is teaming up with the Jr. Optimist Club at Ottawa-Glandorf High School for a service project to spread some holiday joy and she needs your used picture frames! Please donate your old frames (must be in usable condition, 8x10 or smaller, please) to this cause by dropping them off on her front porch anytime (message Sue Siefker for address) or to OGHS during regular school hours before 3 pm Monday, December 11th. Stay tuned to see what we do... it's going to be awesome!!
