Here are more Spanish II students and their wonderful piñata creations from Mrs. Hodges's class!

Mrs. Hodges's Spanish II students learned about some Spanish culture and created a piñata! The origin of the piñata can be traced back to the Aztec Empire from the 14th century. The Aztecs had a tradition of honoring their gods by filling a small, feather-covered pot with treasures and hitting it repeatedly with a stick until all the contents fell at the feet of a statue. Today, piñatas are used at birthday parties and other celebrations. Our students are very creative! Great job!

Join us at the Putnam County Arts Festival Art Show!!! This Sunday, March 10th, at Ottoville Schools. The students who have artwork displayed are listed below.

The senior Biomedical class is assuming the role of a forensic pathologist to perform an autopsy on a fetal pig, an animal whose anatomy, both internal and external, is very similar to human anatomy. They examine a fetal pig using the same protocol as a human autopsy, including examination of the tissues and organs. What an amazing educational experience for our students!

Come see our talented choir students for a night of "Titans Gone Country!" Tickets are on sale now for performances on April 5th, 6th, and 7th at Ottawa-Glandorf High School.

Come join us at the Putnam County Arts Festival!

On Friday night against Van Wert, Colin White surpassed the previous record of most points scored in a career! Not only was this a school record, but a Putnam County record as well. The previous record was 1,693 points and was held by Tim Pollitz during his career from 2001-2004. Colin is currently at 1,723 points.
Congratulations Colin!!

Ottawa-Glandorf Local Schools would like to give a huge shout out to four businesses on the other side of the state, who helped out our Lady Titan basketball team a couple of weeks ago.
On Janauary 15, our team was returning from the Classic in the Country basketball tournament at Berlin Highland High School, when our bus broke down. The owner of Des Eck Welding in Apple Creek helped get the team off of the bus and into their heated shop so the girls could get out of the single digit temperatures that morning.
We would also like to thank the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek for shuttling the girls back to their place for a meal and a warm place to hang out until we could get them home. At the same time, Rigz Towing and Recovery in Millersburg, and NEO Van Rentals of Dundee, Ohio helped get our bus repaired, and our team home safely.
We cannot thank these businesses enough for their help in coordinating everything with our coaches and administrative team to come up with a solution for a problem that was occuring almost three hours from home.
Titan Nation says THANK YOU for your help!!!!

Students and parents, please read the letter on expected student behavior at basketball games. Students need to remain in their seats while the game is going on. This continues to be an issue, and we ask for your help and cooperation in helping to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience as they cheer on our Titans.
