The Ottawa-Glandorf School Counselors are extremely thankful for all of our students and the opportunity that we had last month to spend in Columbus at the All Ohio Counselors Conference learning how to best serve our students day in and day out. We hope you all have a wonderful THANKSGIVING and we look forward to seeing your smiling faces next week!

The Class of 2025 seniors were invited to have a "Friendsgiving" this morning to pause, take a break and be thankful for the camaraderie of their classmates. There will be many "lasts" in this senior year and now is the time to cherish and reflect on the good times. (Part 2)

A huge thank you to OGHS's very own Jess Michel for sharing her expertise in Athletic Training at our most recent Lunch with Professionals! 🙌 Jess gave an insightful presentation, and our students asked some great questions. It was a great opportunity for them to learn about this dynamic and impactful career field. 👟🏋️♂️
We’re so grateful to Jess for taking the time to inspire the next generation of professionals. 💙💛 #OGHSPride #LunchWithProfessionals #AthleticTraining

Morgan Miller, Nevaeh Barraza, and Mrs. Myers created bowls and mugs for the Putnam County Habitat for Humanity’s annual Soup for Shelter fundraiser. The event will be held Thursday, December 5th, at Ottawa’s Schroeder Center for the Arts. At the event, attendees will have their pick of handcrafted bowls and soup from the annual Soup for Shelter. Tickets are on sale now and at the door.

The First National Bank Junior Board of Directors Meeting was held on Friday, November 8th. We opened the meeting with an icebreaker question and a photo scavenger hunt so the students could get to know one another. During the business portion of the meeting, the Junior Board of Directors formed their own corporation and named it Direct Delivery Corporation. Their main product focus will be delivery drones. They learned about Robert’s Rules of Order, the differences between sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, and corporations, organizational charts, how to form a corporation, Articles of Incorporation, and how to write a check and manage a checking account.

No school on Friday, and school will be dismissed early tomorrow.
Also, the start time for the boy's varsity football playoff game at Shelby High School on Friday, has been moved back to 7:30 pm.

It's a great week to be from Putnam County!

While the week might be hectic, we hope everyone is patient, understanding, and flexible as we do our best to make this work. Please be aware that our Friday schedule is dependent on the outcome of our State Semi-Final games.
Please see the image of our schedule this week.

Ottawa-Glandorf Local Schools as well as a couple of other area schools and many businesses are having an issue with calls from AT&T customers. The school personnel and business representatives can't hear the AT&T caller, but the caller is able to hear the school or business rep who is answering the call. This has been going on since last Friday, and AT&T has not addressed the issue.
If you are an AT& T customer, we need your help to address this problem. Please contact AT&T, and let them know you are having problems getting your calls to connect to you local school or business.
