Routine and prevenative maintenance projects

Just like an older or aging house needs to be repainted, have windows replaced, or requires dealing with aging appliances, the school buildings need to be properly maintained to avoid large problems or to just deal with aging equipment or materials.  With that in mind, we have a few such projects going on in the district right now as we deal with everything from minor repairs to large scale replacement projects.  One of the biggest projects going on right now is the resurfacing of the parking lots at the high school.  The asphalt parking lots have been resealed and maintained well since they were installed, but after 22 years of summer suns and winter snow and ice, it was time for a major overhaul.  Ward Construction started work last week to grind out old ashphalt, resurface the existing lots, and to add to the parking lot beside the locker rooms.  We hope this resurfacing lasts as long as what we are replacing, and we will work hard to maintain the new surface to help ensure a long life for the parking lots.  OGHS parking lot resurfacing and replacementOGHS parking lot resurfacing and replacementOGHS parking lot resurfacing and replacementOGHS parking lot resurfacing and replacementOGHS parking lot resurfacing and replacement
